Ideopsis gaura, the smaller wood nymph, is a species of nymphalid butterfly in the Danainae subfamily. It is found in Southeast Asia.

Larvae feed on Melodinus especially M. laevigatus.

Adults are mimicked by Graphium delessertii and Cyclosia pieridoides.[1]
